Advanced techniques blonde review

This is amazing! If you want a cheeky little blonde highlight to your hair without having to dye it (eek!), then this is perfect for you. I first came across this product last summer when I was looking on getting a slight tint of blonde to my hair. Luckily, my hair naturally get a slight tint but last year I wanted more. The concept of dying my hair was utterly terrifying! I have heard and seen so many horror stories when hair dye goes wrong, so when I found this naturally highlighting product I was a little worried, but I thought that I would try this before I full on dyed my hair.

The way to apply it is incredibly simple! You put a little bit on the stick shown in the picture then brush it through your hair, I concentrated more on the ends of my hair as I wanted a dip dyed affect, then ta-da, it’s done. It will leave your hair looking a little greasy and wet, so I only used it on days when I knew that I wasn’t seeing anyone! One of the issues with this product is that you can only really use it in the summer if you live in England as it reacts with the sun. The more you go out in the sun when the product is in your hair, the more affect the product will take.

Overall, this product is a perfect alternative to dying your hair and it’s certainly great if you just want a slight tint, it also happens gradually so that on one will notice a dramatic change all at once. I would highly recommend this product, feel free to comment any other similar products. 🙂

Garnier moose review

This is one of my favourite products for when I fancy a little curl in my hair. Naturally I have dead straight hair and I long to have that brilliant bounce that curly hair leaves. You simply put a squirt of this moose on your hands, rub is together and scrunch it into your towel dried hair. Now here’s the best part; you can either leave it slightly scrunched and allow it to try naturally (I usually put a loose hairband in to allow it to set rather than just dropping out because my hair is so straight), or you can blow dry it with a diffuser, this leaves your hair with a natural curl. This product leaves your hair smelling lovely and fresh.

However, one criticism that I would like to point out is that it sometimes leaves your hair a little hard and rock like, so I simply run a brush through it to soften it back up, however, this allowed the volume to go down a little. Overall, I would recommend this product and feel free to comment if you know of any other tips for this ‘hard hair’ problem. Thanks!

Hair Refresher Review

This wonderful little thing is from Avon where it costs under £5. It comes in all different flavours and the one that I chose is called ‘cherry blossom’ because lets face it, who wouldn’t want their hair to smell like cherry blossoms. I would highly recommend this product as it smells great and is really simple to use without leaving your hair greasy. The way in which I apply it is sometimes straight to the hair, I tend to avoid the roots as I tend to get greasy hair if I use products on it, however, more recently I have started to spray it directly onto my hair brush, then brush my hair, this is a great way to keep the smell in your hair for longer. Also, this product lasts forever! This is the second bottle that I have ever had and I only use it once a week, usually on the second day after a hair wash.

Beauty Review

Right. So I’m new to having my own blog so I thought that I would do a large review of some of my make-up collection to see how people react. This may be something that I continue to do or that I forfeit depending on the amount of interest. Hopefully I can share both my good and my back experiences of certain well known products and perhaps recommend some that will do you good. I’ll be starting tonight and hopefully I’ll have finished by the end of the week where I’ll decide if I’ll continue or not.
